- Warehouse accountants are required to work for Mafaz Company in Riyadh
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming materials to the main warehouse and ensure their compliance with purchase orders and receipt vouchers
- Keeping materials inside the warehouse according to the correct classification (Dry Store – Chillers – Freezers) while adhering to storage requirements.
- Recording all receipt, disbursement and transfer movements on the system on a daily and accurate basis
- Maintaining the consistency of the actual balance with the system balance and reporting any discrepancies immediately
- Issuing materials to the production department in the central kitchen according to approved production orders and in coordination with the responsible chef
- Organizing specific times for the disbursement of daily materials to ensure tight control over the movement of the warehouse, and no random disbursement except in emergency cases and after the approval of the official.
- Disbursing materials to other branches and projects only based on approved requests and transfers
- Follow up on minimum stock balances and inform the purchasing department well before materials run out
- Follow up on expiry dates and apply the (FIFO/FEFO) system during storage and dispensing
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, refrigerators and freezers on an ongoing basis
- Participate in periodic and surprise inventory work and prepare discrepancy reports
- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports on warehouse movement
- Continuous coordination with the financial department, purchasing and production to ensure the smooth flow of work
- Ensure that no material leaves the warehouse without an approved dispensing document
- After completing the training phase and stabilizing the work, he is responsible for following up and analyzing the quantities of materials disbursed for production, comparing them to the approved production orders and recipes, and submitting any observations or deviations to management to contribute to controlling costs and reducing waste.
Requirements:
Suitable qualification in accounting, warehouse management or equivalent
Previous experience in the field of warehouses or accounting is preferred
Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Excel programs
Accuracy, honesty, and ability to handle work pressure
Language requirements:
English-good
