• Develop new footwear products in accordance with customer needs, market requirements and company objectives
• Managing and following up the product development cycle from idea to start of production
• Prepare technical specifications for products, manufacturing drawings, lists of materials, and all necessary technical documents
• Selecting appropriate raw materials and components in coordination with relevant departments
• Developing prototypes, following up on sample manufacturing, and evaluating their results
• Analyze test results and make the necessary technical adjustments to improve the product
• Coordination with production, quality, purchasing and sales departments to ensure the product is ready for production
• Ensure that products comply with customer requirements and approved technical standards
• Follow up on the costs of developing and producing products and work to improve them without affecting quality
• Providing technical support for production during the manufacturing stages and addressing technical problems related to the products
• Follow up on the latest technologies and materials used in the shoe industry and propose innovative development solutions
• Prepare and maintain all records and documents related to product development
• Participate in technical meetings with customers and suppliers when needed
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects to develop product quality and raise the efficiency of manufacturing processes
• Any work requested from the direct manager related to the job
Requirements:
A deep understanding of the processes of shoe shaping, sizing and stitching of shoe uppers
Knowledge of the properties of leather, synthetics, textiles and rubber in terms of durability, comfort and sustainability
