- A mechanical engineer is required to work as director of technical services in the city of Riyadh
Job Description:
- Supervising the technical aspects and governance related to mechanical systems, monitoring the performance of operation and maintenance contractors, and ensuring the efficiency of maintenance work and critical mechanical assets in accordance with best practices and approved standards.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of mechanical systems contractors
- Review the extent of compliance with preventive maintenance (PPM) plans and corrective maintenance work
- Carrying out technical reviews and inspections of systems and equipment
- Review mechanical maintenance methodologies and technical reports
- Monitor the performance of critical mechanical assets, shutdown plans, and reliability indicators
- Verify the application of SFG20 requirements and standards
- Reviewing the efficiency of the contractors’ technical work teams and ensuring that the competencies are appropriate
- Support asset life cycle management plans and replacement plans
- Review the performance of energy, water and mechanical facilities consumption
- Supporting technical reviews of mechanical works in fit-out and renovation projects
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
At least 15 years of technical experience in the field of Facilities Management (FM)
Experience in managing, operating and maintaining major commercial facilities or government facilities
FMP or CFM certification is required
Language requirements:
English-fluent
