Key tasks and responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring medical air compressors and vacuum pumps.
- Implementing periodic preventive maintenance (PPM) programs according to approved schedules
- Checking and reading pressure indicators and flow rates and ensuring that they comply with technical specifications
- Inspect, clean and change air filters, dryers, safety and control valves
- Early detection of leaks and conducting pressure leak tests.
- Carrying out maintenance of distribution stations (Zone Valve Boxes) and medical gas alarm panels
- Responding to emergency maintenance requests and malfunctions outside working hours when needed
- Documenting maintenance work in technical records and field visit reports
- Coordination with the project team and engineers to ensure the system’s readiness before delivery
- Adherence to safety and quality standards applicable in health facilities
Requirements:
Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, air conditioning and refrigeration technology, or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in maintaining and operating MGPS medical gas systems
Practical experience with air compressors, suction systems, dryers and medical filters
Familiarity with HTM 02-01, NFPA 99 or ISO 7396 standards is a plus.
