- Preparing and calculating the costs of products and services and following up on updating them periodically
- Analyzing direct and indirect cost elements and identifying deviations
- Preparing periodic reports on costs and submitting them to management
- Monitoring production and inventory costs and ensuring their accuracy is recorded
- Participate in preparing estimated budgets and cost plans
- Conducting analytical studies to reduce costs and improve financial performance
- Follow up on the periodic inventory of inventory and ensure its conformity with accounting records
- Review purchase orders and material movements from a cost perspective
- Preparing and analyzing reports of deviations between actual and planned costs
- Adherence to approved accounting policies and procedures
Requirements:
Practical experience in the field of cost accounting
Proficiency in preparing and analyzing cost reports
High analytical skills and accuracy in work
Proficiency in using accounting programs and Microsoft Excel
Ability to prepare financial reports and make appropriate recommendations
A relevant professional certificate such as CMA is preferred
