- Recording all inventory movements (addition, exchange, transfer, returns)
- Matching actual inventory balances with the accounting system periodically
- Preparing daily entries for inventory and warehouses
- Follow up on the cost of items and update them in accordance with approved accounting policies
- Preparing periodic and annual inventory reports and analyzing discrepancies
- Review purchase orders and supplier invoices related to inventory
- Coordination with the Purchasing and Warehouses Department to ensure data accuracy
- Monitor minimum and maximum inventory and inform management of shortages or increases
- Ensure the application of internal control policies to warehouses
- Follow up on damaged or stagnant items and prepare their reports
- Using accounting systems and ERP programs to manage inventory
- Preparing periodic reports for the financial department on inventory movement and costs
