- Coordinating the loading and unloading of goods within the warehouse or work site
- Ensure shipments match shipping orders and invoices
- Organizing the entry of trucks and scheduling loading times to reduce congestion
- Supervising loading workers and ensuring that safety procedures are implemented
- Inspect the goods before loading to ensure their safety and quantities
- Communicate with the transportation department to ensure shipments are delivered on time
- Preparing daily reports on downloads and problems, if any
- Adherence to quality and safety procedures (HSE)
Requirements:
High school diploma as a minimum, preferably a diploma in (logistics, supply chain management, business administration or similar field)
1 to 3 years of experience in warehouse or loading and unloading operations
Experience in handling shipments and receiving and delivery procedures
Experience in applying safety procedures during loading
Experience in an industrial or logistical environment (factories, ports, transportation companies) is preferred.
Knowledge of using warehouse systems (WMS) or manual records
