Job Description:
- Carrying out examination and review work and ensuring compliance with approved professional standards and relevant regulations, preparing and reviewing working papers and professional reports related to local content, off-plan sales, experiences and reports submitted to judicial authorities, and reports of agreed upon procedures, in a way that ensures the quality and accuracy of professional outputs and their compliance with regulatory and professional requirements.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
First: Professional examination and review work:
- Implementing examination and review procedures in accordance with approved professional standards
- Study and understand the scope of the mission, its objectives, and the requirements of the beneficiary
- Reviewing documents, records, and data supporting the operations under examination
- Verifying the accuracy of financial and non-financial data related to the task
- Preparing review programs and work plans for each task
- Implementing the necessary professional tests and procedures according to the nature of the task
- Documenting the results of the work in integrated and reviewable work papers
Second: Local content reports:
- Review local content data and supporting documents
- Verifying the accuracy of calculating the local content elements in accordance with the approved regulations and instructions
- Implementing examination procedures and preparing working papers for the report
- Preparing draft reports and submitting technical notes to management
- Follow up on completion of deficiencies and inquiries with customers
Third: Off-plan sales reports:
- Reviewing financial and accounting data for real estate projects
- Verifying the proper use of buyers’ funds in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Examination of extracts, contracts and supporting documents
- Preparing the required work papers and periodic reports
- Submitting observations and deviations to the relevant department
Fourth: Reports submitted to judicial authorities:
- Studying assignment decisions and relevant judicial documents
- Analyzing data, documents and financial facts in dispute
- Carrying out financial and accounting examination and analysis
- Preparing drafts of technical reports and responses to inquiries
- Contributing to the preparation of tables, analyses, and attachments supporting reports
Fifth: Reports of agreed upon procedures:
- Implementing agreed-upon procedures according to the scope of the assignment
- Documenting the actual results of the procedures performed without expressing an unsolicited professional opinion or conclusion
- Preparing work papers and reports in accordance with the requirements of professional standards
- Ensure the completeness of evidence and documents supporting the results
Sixth: Quality and professional commitment:
- Adherence to approved auditing, assurance and related services standards
- Adherence to the office’s quality policies and procedures
- Maintaining the confidentiality of professional information and data
- Implement feedback received from quality reviewers and managers
- Contributing to the development of work methodologies and professional models
Requirements:
Bachelor of Accounting
SOCPA, CPA, CPA, CPA, CIA and Financial Fraud Examiner certification preferred
At least 3 years of practical experience in accounting and auditing offices
Previous experience implementing assurance reports, agreed procedures, local content reports or litigation experience
Familiarity with International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
Familiarity with the International Standard for Related Services and Agreed Procedures (ISRS 4400)
Familiarity with International Standards for Assurance Engagements (ISAE)
High skills in financial and accounting analysis
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel. 8
Ability to use electronic review and professional file management programs
