• Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy in accordance with expansion and growth plans
• Providing financial insights to senior management that help guide strategic decisions
• Lead and develop the finance team to ensure efficiency and adherence to professional standards
• Prepare the annual budget and follow up on performance against the budget
• Preparing short and long-term financial forecasts
• Analysis of project performance indicators (cost - profitability - cash flow - deviations)
• Support project managers in preparing project budgets, pricing and bids
• Supervising accounting records in accordance with IFRS standards approved in the Kingdom
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements accurately and on time
• Preparing reports for senior management and owners
• Managing the monthly closing process and preparing accounting notes
Supervising:
• Project accounting
• Operating expenses
• Accounting for government contracts (Etimad platform requirements)
• Managing letters of guarantee (initial - final - advance payment)
• Manage claims and extracts with clients and subcontractors
• Follow up on contracting contracts (government and private sector) in terms of cash flow, collection, and financial settlement
• Managing value added taxes, tax withholding (WHT), and zakat
• Follow up on ZATCA and Etimad portals to ensure compliance
• Dealing with electronic invoicing requirements (second stage)
• Coordination with external and internal auditors
• Managing cash and reducing liquidity risks
• Preparing weekly and monthly cash flow plans
• Managing bank relationships, credit facilities, and letters of guarantee
• Follow up on collection and address delays in receivables
• Establish strong financial policies and procedures
• Implementing internal controls that prevent errors and abuses
• Managing the cycle of disbursement, payment and purchases to ensure integrity and transparency
• Activating an approved financial authority system
• Develop financial systems and improve integration between finance, project management and procurement
• Enhance the use of systems (Oracle / SAP / Zoho / Odoo) according to the company environment
• Use Business Intelligence (Power BI) tools for data analysis and visual presentation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
10 to 15 years of experience in finance, including at least 5 years in the contracting sector
Experience in financial management for small to medium companies (40–100 employees)
Strong understanding of project deliverables, claims and cash flow
Knowledge of working on ERP systems and accounting software (Odoo)
