Job Description
Assist the driller and off-sider in transporting tools, equipment, and materials to and from work areas. In addition to cleaning the work area and extracted samples and placing them in the designated box.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist the drilling team in various tasks.
2. Transport tools, equipment and materials to and from work areas.
3. Assist drilling workers in setting up and operating drills and other machinery.
4. Assist heavy equipment operators to secure equipment accessories.
5. Assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as refueling, lubricating and washing equipment and machinery.
6. Clean work areas, machinery and transportation and remove blockages and spills.
7. Knowledge of safe operation of hand tools.
8. Executing all assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years’ experience
· Mechanical Understanding and safety standards, mine site regulations, and environmental practices.
• Physical fitness and ability to work long shifts in challenging outdoor conditions.
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
