Preparing shop drawings: reviewing design drawings and converting them into accurate executive drawings that include all construction and architectural details.
Quantity Surveying: Carrying out an accurate inventory of all materials and items required for the project and preparing tables of quantities (BOQ).
- Follow up and prepare contracts and extracts: prepare and review monthly extracts for contractors and suppliers, and ensure their conformity with what was actually implemented on the ground.
- Analyzing prices and bids: studying price offers submitted by suppliers and contractors, and making technical and financial comparisons to choose the most appropriate one.
Technical coordination: Resolving any conflicts between plans (Architecture vs Structural vs MEP) before starting implementation to avoid field errors.
- Preparing periodic reports and schedules: Submitting periodic reports to management on completion rates, actual costs versus the budget, and any deviations in the schedule.
Document management: archiving and documenting all technical correspondence, approved plans, and contractor contracts
Requirements:
Bachelor of Civil Engineering
5 years experience
Full proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for quantitative inventory and financial analysis
Strong knowledge of project management software such as (MS Project or Primavera)
