- Planning and developing cost calculation methods and identifying direct and indirect cost elements in proportion to the nature of the activity
- Calculating the cost of products or services and analyzing cost elements periodically to ensure data accuracy
- Preparing and updating standard costs, analyzing deviations between actual and standard costs and determining their causes
- Preparing periodic reports on costs, pricing, analyzing profitability, and submitting recommendations to management
- Participate in preparing estimated budgets for costs and following up on their implementation
- Monitoring operational costs and productivity and working to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Coordination with relevant departments (production, procurement, warehouses) and monitoring and evaluating inventory in accordance with approved policies
- Developing cost accounting procedures and systems and preparing specialized documents and reports and preserving them in accordance with approved accounting policies and standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
It is preferable to have professional certificates such as (CMA or CPA)
3 to 5 years of experience in the field of cost accounting
Good knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle)
