A purchasing representative is required with at least 3 years of experience in the field of supplying and purchasing vegetables and fruits
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Buy fresh vegetables and fruits from markets and approved suppliers
- Checking the quality of products and ensuring that they conform to the required specifications
- Negotiating with suppliers to get the best prices and offers
- Organizing supply operations and ensuring that products arrive on time
- Monitoring inventory and ensuring the continuous availability of required quantities
- Maintaining good relationships with suppliers and building a reliable supplier network
- Preparing periodic reports on purchases and prices
- Adherence to hygiene and safety standards while handling products
Requirements:
Accuracy in selecting products
Knowledge of market prices and changes
Good knowledge of vegetable markets in the Eastern Province and customer needs
