Job Description:
- Managing and operating the vehicle maintenance workshop to ensure the readiness and efficiency of the company’s operational fleet, through planning and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance of vehicles, in order to achieve continuity of the poultry company’s operational operations and reduce breakdowns and operational costs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing the company’s vehicle maintenance and repair operations to ensure the readiness of the operational fleet and reduce sudden malfunctions that affect operational operations
- Planning and implementing preventive maintenance programs for vehicles and equipment to ensure extending the life of assets and achieving the highest levels of operational efficiency
- Supervising the team of technicians and mechanics and distributing tasks to them to ensure that maintenance and repair work is completed according to technical standards and specified timetables
- Monitoring workshop performance and spare parts consumption to ensure optimal use of resources and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with the Operations and Transport Department to determine maintenance priorities and ensure the availability of vehicles necessary to support the company’s operations
- Follow up on the stock of spare parts and technical materials and request the necessary requirements to ensure their availability and continuity of maintenance work without delay
- Preparing technical and periodic reports on fleet status, malfunctions, and maintenance costs and submitting them to the maintenance manager to support decision-making and improve performance
- Ensuring adherence to occupational safety procedures within the workshop to maintain the safety of workers and equipment and reduce occupational accidents
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related technical specialty, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Vehicle Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or management of maintenance workshops, or experience in managing workshops for transport fleets or heavy vehicles in operational, logistical or industrial companies.
Courses in vehicle maintenance and workshop management
Training in occupational safety and safety procedures in workshops
Advanced courses in maintenance management or fleet management
Training on Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Good knowledge of different engine and vehicle systems
Maintenance planning and scheduling skills
Knowledge of electronic maintenance management systems
Ability to lead technical work teams and manage the workshop
