- A purchasing officer is required to work for a leading contracting organization in Mecca
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the purchasing process to ensure that the right products of the right quality and price are purchased on time
- Negotiating with suppliers to ensure obtaining the best prices and payment terms
- Manage supplier relationships and build strong and sustainable relationships
- Assist in selecting suppliers based on quality performance and reliability
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, suppliers, and market studies
- Procurement planning, preparation and implementation of procurement plans according to projects needs
- Contribute to the development of procurement strategies to increase efficiency and achieve cost savings
Requirements:
University degree in a related specialty
Previous practical experience of not less than 3 years in the field of procurement, preferably in contracting companies
Proficiency in using computers and office programs, preferably knowledge of purchasing management programs (ERP).
