Objective of the job:
- Supervising the preparation and follow-up of project plans and schedules to ensure their implementation within the specified time, budget and scope, while submitting periodic reports to management and stakeholders on the progress of the work.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed project schedule using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Analyze the scope of work and determine the activities, their sequence, and the time duration for each activity
- Developing a baseline plan and comparing it with actual progress
- Follow up on the progress of work in the field and update timetables periodically
- Preparing performance reports (progress, deviations, risks, performance indicators)
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement and implementation teams to ensure timeliness of the plan
- Analyzing delays and proposing acceleration or treatment plans (Recovery Plans).
- Claims management and delay analysis support
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical or equivalent)
2 to 5 years of experience (intermediate level) in the field of project planning
Proficiency in scheduling and data analysis software
High analytical skills and the ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
Proficiency in preparing reports and presentations
Understanding project contracts and their time terms
Ability to solve problems and make decisions
Time management and organizing priorities
Strong communication skills and working within a team
