- A warehouse keeper is required for a construction project in Jeddah
- Working hours: 8 hours
Objective of the job:
- Managing and organizing the warehouse for the construction project, and ensuring the accurate and safe receipt, storage and disbursement of materials and equipment, in a way that supports the workflow on site without delay or waste.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Receiving construction materials and equipment and matching them with purchase orders and invoices
- Inspect received materials and ensure their quality, quantities and condition
- Organizing and arranging materials inside the warehouse according to the principles of proper storage and safety
- Distributing materials to the site according to approved requests and recording them accurately
- Follow up warehouse balances and prepare periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Maintaining the cleanliness and order of the warehouse and adhering to safety procedures
- Coordination with project management and procurement regarding deficiencies and needs
- Report any damage, loss or non-conforming materials
- Use inventory systems or records (manual or electronic)
- Participate in the periodic and surprise inventory of the warehouse
Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma (preferably diploma in warehouse management or similar field)
At least two years of experience as a warehouse keeper, preferably in construction projects
Good knowledge of construction materials and equipment
Computer proficiency (Excel / warehouse systems)
Ability to work under pressure and in a work site environment
Physical fitness appropriate to the nature of field work
