Implementation monitoring:
- Follow up on contractors’ work and ensure that they are implemented in accordance with engineering plans and technical specifications
- Ensure that the materials used in the project conform to the required standards and specifications
Inspection and quality:
- Conduct field examinations and tests necessary to verify the quality of civil works (such as concrete, asphalt, concrete structures, infrastructure)
- Preparing periodic reports on the quality of implementation and violations, if any
Safety and compliance:
- Ensure that workers and site management adhere to occupational safety procedures and public health standards
- Follow up on environmental procedures and ensure that there is no negative impact on the environment surrounding the project
Documentation and reporting:
- Preparing daily records of field observations, and archiving technical documents and tests
- Submitting reports to the direct supervisor on work progress, problems, and needs required to correct the course
Coordination with technical teams:
- Collaborate with engineers, designers and contractors to solve any operational or technical problems on site
- Participate in technical meetings to discuss challenges and ensure the project progresses according to schedule
