Job Description:
- The interior design engineer is responsible for preparing and developing interior designs for projects in a way that achieves the functional and aesthetic requirements of the spaces, in accordance with the approved technical standards and the client’s needs, while adhering to the relevant regulations and codes, and coordinating with other engineering specialties to ensure the integration of the design and its feasibility of implementation.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Preparing interior designs for projects from the conceptual stage to detailed designs
• Develop executive and detailed plans for internal works
• Preparing space distribution plans, ceilings, floors, finishes, and interior lighting
• Selecting appropriate interior materials and finishes and preparing material schedules and specifications
• Preparing three-dimensional (3D) visualizations and design presentations
• Coordination with architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure design integrity
• Review and approve interior designs according to client requirements and approved standards
• Preparing design documents and technical reports for internal works
• Make design modifications based on client or project team feedback
Requirements:
