Job Description:
- The architect in the Implementation Supervision Department is responsible for following up and monitoring the implementation of architectural works on the site in accordance with the executive drawings, approved technical specifications, and contract terms, ensuring the achievement of quality requirements and compliance with the applicable systems and requirements, with continuous coordination with the supervision team, the contractor, and the relevant authorities, and supporting the owner entity in monitoring performance and implementation.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Supervising the implementation of all architectural works on the site and verifying their compliance with the approved drawings and specifications
- Review and approve shop drawings, architectural materials and samples provided by the contractor
- Monitoring the quality of implementation and finishes and ensuring compliance with approved quality standards
- Coordination with engineers of other disciplines to ensure integration of work and non-conflict
- Follow up the progress of architectural works compared to the approved schedule and prepare periodic reports
- Issuing technical notes and following up on their processing by the contractor
- Participate in the interim and final receipt of architectural works and prepare receipt reports
- Verifying the contractor’s compliance with occupational safety and health requirements within the scope of architectural works
- Providing technical support to the owner regarding architectural aspects during implementation
- Documenting the work carried out and any changes or field notes in accordance with the approved procedures
