- Planning and preparing research: defining research objectives, developing plans, formulating proposals, and developing research methods
- Data collection and analysis: designing questionnaires, conducting interviews, and using statistical programs to analyze qualitative and quantitative data
- Implementing research: supervising data collection, managing samples, and implementing experiments
- Evaluating and interpreting results: identifying patterns and solutions, and making recommendations based on the results of the analysis
- Report writing and publishing: preparing detailed reports, writing and publishing research papers in journals and conferences
- Support and training: Providing advice and support to colleagues in designing and conducting research and training them on scientific research methods
- Follow up on developments: Keeping up with scientific and technical developments in the field of research and their application
