Job purpose:
- Design user interfaces that are effective, accessible, and aesthetically appealing while ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience. This role combines creativity and analytical thinking to improve user satisfaction and align digital products with business goals
Key Responsibilities:
● Interface Design (UI) Responsibilities:
- Design visually attractive and intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency with brand identity and visual language
- Create and improve high-fidelity models, engineering drawings, and interactive models using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
- Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries to ensure scalability, consistency, and effective collaboration with the development team
- Apply principles of color theory, typography, grid systems, spacing, and symbols to create clean, user-friendly layouts
- Ensuring responsive and adaptive design across different devices and screen sizes, while optimizing for interfaces on smartphones, tablets and computers
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure design elements are implemented with pixel precision and interface quality is maintained throughout the development cycle
● Experience Design (UX) Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research and develop personas to understand target users' behaviors, goals, frustrations, and motivations
- Conducting usability tests (remotely and in person)
- Prepare testing scenarios based on real user journeys
- Facilitating sessions, recording behavior, and providing comments and feedback
- Analyze results and compile actionable insights to improve design decisions
- Improving user experience through information architecture, user flow diagrams, journey mapping and task optimization
- Use tools such as heat maps, data analysis dashboards, A/B testing, and feedback from users to identify experience problems and suggest improvements
- Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards (WCAG) and comply with digital government guidelines where applicable
- Communicate with stakeholders about trial strategies and results through presentations, reports and design demonstrations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, or related field
3 or more years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in digital product development environments
Familiarity with Arabic facade design and cultural localization is an added advantage
Experience working with digital government platforms or enterprise systems
Proficiency in using Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and other modern tools for interface design and experimentation
Certificate in Experience Design or Human Centered Design
Strong understanding of User Centered Design (UCD) principles, usability guidelines, and interaction patterns
Experience conducting user tests, surveys, interviews and translating insights into improved designs
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Zeplin)
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to justify design decisions with research and logical thinking
