- Evaluating immunization programs through periodic tests and analyses
- Conduct periodic and emergency examinations and analyzes of the maternal flocks on a regular basis
- Comprehensive periodic inspection of the hatchery and the distribution and maintenance unit regularly
- Periodic examination of day-old chicks to obtain the finest chicks with high immunity and free of bacterial diseases
- Conducting periodic inspections of customers’ farms to ensure the safety of their herds, which will provide the company with a high rate of customer satisfaction, in coordination with the sales manager.
- Follow up on biosecurity procedures for the project staff to ensure that they are free from diseases common to chickens
- Preparing the operational plan and estimated budget for laboratory management, implementing the plan and adhering to the budget
- Updating the policies, procedures, systems and regulations governing the work of the laboratory administration
- Participation in workshops and periodic meetings with the General Director and department managers
- Determine the laboratory’s needs and follow up on their supply
- Carrying out periodic visits to the project, the hatchery, and customer farms if necessary
- Preparing a database for examinations and analyzes for each maternal herd
- Issuing periodic reports on the performance of the veterinary laboratory (daily - weekly - monthly......)
Requirements:
A qualification of at least a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine and laboratories, preferably with postgraduate studies in poultry
7-10 years of experience in the field of veterinary medical laboratories and veterinary analysis
Practical experience in poultry farms
Ability to analyze data using Excel with high skill
Ability to prepare laboratory reports and customer visit reports on a regular basis
Scientific knowledge and high skill in scientific research
