- Daily supervision of architectural works on site and ensuring their implementation according to approved drawings and specifications
- Follow up on work progress and ensure adherence to the implementation schedule
- Coordination with site engineers and other sectors (civil - electrical - mechanical) to resolve any conflicts during implementation
- Conducting on-site inspection and approving the works with the consultant
- Providing daily/weekly reports on work progress, obstacles, and site needs
- Follow up on the quality of materials used and ensure they comply with specifications
- Review and approve site plans prior to implementation
- Attend field meetings and solve technical problems immediately
- Monitoring contractors’ commitment to occupational safety and quality procedures
- Preparing and reviewing shop drawings and ensuring their accuracy before sending them to the consultant
- Preparing and calculating architectural quantities (Quantities Take-off) and preparing BOQ tables
- Coordinating drawings between different disciplines to avoid conflicts (Coordination Drawings)
- Preparing RFIs (Requests for Information Inquiry) and submitting them to the consultant when there is ambiguity or discrepancy in the drawings
- Updating the drawings according to the approved amendments (As-Built Drawings)
- Study technical specifications and contractual documents and adhere to them during design and implementation
- Contribute to the preparation of supply and procurement schedules for architectural materials
- Support project management in preparing technical progress reports and monthly summaries
- Review and approve architectural materials in coordination with the owner and consultant (Material Submittals)
