- Purchasing manager for sanitary, plumbing, electrical and construction materials is required
Responsibilities and tasks:
• Conducting studies and analyzes that help management make appropriate purchasing decisions
• Preparing and organizing records and files of purchases, suppliers, prices and items on the electronic system in a way that facilitates reference to them when needed
• Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures and ensure adherence to them
• Study the market periodically and follow up on competitors’ conditions and prices
• Follow up and evaluate the performance of local and international suppliers to ensure the quality and continuity of supply
• Follow up on receipts in warehouses and ensure their compliance with purchase orders and approved specifications
• Arranging and documenting all purchase transaction data according to approved forms and records
• Coordinating to bring samples of the required materials for inspection before approving the purchase
• Follow up on late orders and work to speed up supply
• Coordinate with the warehouse department regarding issuing entry vouchers and paying supplier invoices on time
• Preparing periodic reports on purchases, suppliers, and performance levels
• Contribute to eliminating unnecessary stored materials and improving inventory management
Requirements:
Experience in the field of building materials (sanitary materials, plumbing, electricity, construction materials)
High ability to negotiate with local and international suppliers
Strong familiarity with ERP and supply chain management systems
High organizational and analytical skills
Tactful behavior and good appearance
Ability to work within a team and under work pressure
