Job description:
- The director of revenue in the hotel sector is responsible for maximizing the profits of the facility through smart pricing strategies and data analysis, and ensures that the rooms and services are sold to the right customer, at the right price, at the right time
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Developing pricing strategies: Using tools that mimic the seasonal market demand and competition to accurately control prices
- Channels and Distribution Management: Organizing Chambers through Channels (Direct Site, Electronic Travel Agencies such as Booking, Expedia, etc.), to ensure a balance between demand and supply
- Performance analysis and indicators ’monitoring: such as AdR (Average Daily Price), Revpar (Revenue for Each Room available), Occupance Rate, Goppar Trevpar and others
Cvent
Prediction of demand: Using previous reservation data, local events, seasons and others for future planning
Competence Monitoring: Prices and offers for them to control pricing strategies in line with the market
- Cooperation with other sections: such as marketing teams, sales, and operations to ensure the compatibility of the strategy and achieve common goals
- Reporting and reports: Preparing periodic reports for revenues, expectations and proposed procedures to direct decision -making
