Review the plans and technical specifications for MEP projects to understand purchasing requirements
- Preparing requests for quotes (RFQS) for MEP materials and equipment from accredited suppliers
Comparison and analysis of technical and financial offers from suppliers
- Negotiating with suppliers to get the best prices and conditions
Issuing purchase orders and supplying supply according to the project's schedule
- Coordination with engineering and site teams to ensure that materials match the specifications
- Follow up the performance of suppliers and ensure commitment to quality and dates
Preparing periodic reports on the status of purchase and delivery of materials
Contributing to the development of the accredited suppliers database
Ensure that purchases are compatible with the approved budget and project plans
- Coordination with the warehouse department to ensure the proper receipt of the materials
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or its equivalent
At least 3 years experience in the field of engineering purchases, especially in MEP projects
Good knowledge of technical specifications and MEP materials
Mastering the use of Office programs and purchasing programs (such as ERP or SAP)
