The goal of the job:
- Preparing accurate and accredited engineering graphics and plans for construction projects (civil, architectural or mechanical/electric) using engineering drawing programs, and updating them according to the project requirements or technical modifications, in coordination with the design and implementation engineers
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Preparing and coordinating engineering graphics for various disciplines (architecture, construction, mechanical, electric) using autocad and Revit or any other design programs
- Review the graphics to ensure their compatibility with the technical specifications and approved plans
Support design engineers in developing engineering details for projects
Organizing and preserving graphics in a systematic way within the document management system
Make amendments to the graphics based on technical directives from engineers or supervisors
Ensuring the accuracy and integration of graphics within the specified time tables
- Coordination with implementation teams and the site to update any field changes on the plans (AS-Built Drawings)
Requirements:
Diploma in civil or architectural engineering, electricity, mechanics, or engineering drawing
Proficiency in using the autocad program professionally
Good knowledge using Revit or other BIM programs (preferably)
Good knowledge of English (to deal with artistic terms)
A skill in reading and interpreting engineering plans
High accuracy in drawing and attention to details
The ability to work within a team and tolerates work pressure
Organizational and professional skills in managing technical files
The desire to learn, develop and adhere to the dates of work
