- Drive Test Engineer is required to conduct field tests and evaluate the performance of the fifth generation (5G) networks on equipment. The function includes gathering and analyzing wireless sign quality, coverage, and the speed of transportation using standard tools approved in the industry. The ideal candidate must be of strong practical experience in field test tools, post-PROCSSING, and a profound understanding of wireless access technologies to support network improvement and performance enhancement initiatives
Responsibilities:
• Driving Test and Walk Test to collect the fifth generation network data in custom areas and sites
• Use tools such as Tems Investigation, Outdoor/Handy, or X-Cal to collect data in actual time
• Determining and recording problems such as call interruptions, poor signal, transfer between cells, and the deterioration of the transmission speed
• Checking individual sites (SSV) and CDT leadership tests (CDT) to accept and improve new sites
• Record analysis using programs such as Actix, TEMS Discovery, Mapinfo, or Swissqual to assess major performance indicators (KPI) and prepare reports
• Check the site integration, adjust the direction of the coverage and the inclination angle after installing the site
• Coordination with wireless frequencies (RF), transportation division to report problems, suggest standards, or correction of breakdowns in equipment
• Preparing daily/weekly reports on driving tests, including coverage maps, performance indicators, and detailed malfunctions.
• Commitment to safety protocols and entering sites during all field activities
• Supporting improvement projects, breakdowns, and performance evaluation after replacing equipment in networks
