Job description:
- Supervising the daily transportation operations and ensuring their implementation efficiently and effectively, while ensuring that drivers adhere to the timetable and instructions, ensuring vehicle safety and goods, and achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction
Tasks and responsibilities:
Organizing and managing daily transportation schedules and ensuring adherence to them
Coordination of download and download operations and follow -up of vehicle movement
Supervising the performance of drivers and evaluating their efficiency periodically
Ensure that vehicle safety and follow -up periodic maintenance
Coordination with other sections to ensure the flow of work and achieve operational goals
- Preparing periodic reports for transportation operations (volume of movables, accidents, violations, operational efficiency ... etc.)
- Dealing with any emergency problems or delay in shipments and taking immediate corrective actions
Application of quality and safety systems at all stages of transportation
Management of operational costs, work to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Follow up with suppliers or external transport companies when needed
Requirements:
Experience in the field of transportation or logistics services
Leadership and organizational skills
Good knowledge of transportation systems, distribution, and tracking systems
