The general goal of the job:
- Providing technical support to UDO ERP users, ensuring the system operation efficiently and smoothly, exploring and solving technical problems, in addition to coordination with service providers to ensure the continuity of operations
Tasks and responsibilities:
Technical support and maintenance:
Providing technical support to the final users with regard to the ODoo ERP system and all the applications associated with it
Explore and repair technical problems, whether at the user level or the system
- Follow the system performance and suggest improvements to ensure operational efficiency
System management and integration:
- Follow Odoo integration with other systems, such as the Zakat and Income Authority (an invoice platform) and Outlook for email
- Work to maintain and manage the cloud environment on ODOO.SH in coordination with ODOO
- Daily backup management and ensure data recovery when necessary
Safety and compliance:
- Ensure that safety policies, user management and powers are applied according to the approved criteria
- Helping in compliance with the annual ITGC and ITAC checks by providing the necessary data and documentation
Documentation and training:
- Preparing technical documents and advantages of use for the final users
- Providing training for users on how to use the system and take advantage of its advantages efficiently
Documenting common problems and solutions at the base of internal knowledge
Coordination and communication:
- Coordination with the Odoo Support team when there are problems that need to be escalated
- Cooperation with other departments to understand their technical needs and improve the use of the system
Requirements:
Bachelor of Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems or its equivalent
Previous experience in supporting ERP systems, preferably in Odoo Erp
A good knowledge of the management of databases posgresql
Experience in the ODOO.SH environment and cloud services management
Strong analytical skills and ability to explore and repair errors
Knowing the basics of programming (Python, XML) is an additional feature
Master Arabic and English
