The duties of the warehouse manager and warehouses:
- Strategic warehouse management according to the company's policies and vision
Supervising the receipt, storage, distribution and maintenance operations
Planning preparation and ensuring the optimal use of available spaces
Coordination and follow -up on implementing operational policies well
Commitment to all the requirements for storage and shipping legislation
Providing production management or other departments with all daily orders
- Receiving supplied materials and delivering a copy according to the missionary to the Procurement Department
Documenting the materials entering the warehouse and leaving it
- Arrange the raw materials in the correct way inside the warehous
- Ensure the safety of storage in warehouses and the presence of safety means against the fire
Ensure that warehouses are ventilated for the goods that are required
- Establishing identification cards for warehouses and contents of each warehouse
Building a database on assets or locations of goods in each store
- Ensure that the incoming method is first issued first
Receiving and arranging goods in a proper way to avoid damage or breakage
- Managing and organizing the time of warehouse workers and training them
- Maintaining warehouses clean and ensuring easy access to the goods
- Plain warehouses and locations of the goods
Ensure that there are safety means or fire extinguishers
- The optimal use of the spaces available in warehouses
Maintaining health, safety, hygiene and security standards
- Inventory monitoring management using various data storage programs
- Preparing the annual budget and communicating with customers, suppliers and transport companies
- Preparing a business plan, appointing tasks appropriately, and evaluating results
- Supervising the selection and employment of competencies and the provision of appropriate training and motivation for employees
- Preparing reports and statistics periodically, such as entry and exit reports and available quantities reports
- Cooperation with the Quality Department and follow -up notes on quality
