Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze structural systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Perform calculations and simulations for load distribution, stability, and safety.
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications using design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that construction aligns with design specifications.
- Prepare reports, technical documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Stay updated on advancements in structural engineering techniques, materials, and building codes.
- Ensure compliance with local and international codes, standards, and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design
Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of design standards and building codes
Experience in designing with steel, concrete, and composite materials.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is a plus
