Oversee and manage the entire infrastructure project life cycle, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines and budgets.
Coordinate and collaborate effectively with all stakeholders, including contractors, developers, consultants and clients.
Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project, ensuring compliance with design standards, regulations and environmental requirements.
Define performance standards, monitor project progress, and quickly identify and address potential issues.
Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to track project progress, communicate key information, and ensure transparency.
Inform themselves of relevant Quality, Environment, Safety and Occupational Health policies within Hill International and ensure ongoing adherence to these requirements while working for Hill.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct manager/supervisor.
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
Proficiency in geotechnical analysis and design, using relevant software and methods.
Experience in preparing geotechnical reports and recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
Experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with other engineering disciplines.
Comprehensive understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and geotechnical engineering principles.
Familiarity with geological concepts, including stratigraphy, hydrology, and geomorphology.
Knowledge of geotechnical testing procedures and interpretation of test results.
An understanding of building codes, standards and regulations related to geotechnical engineering.
Awareness of environmental considerations and sustainability practices in geotechnical projects.
Effective teamwork and collaboration skills to work harmoniously with other engineering professionals and construction teams.
Ability to adapt to changing project conditions and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of construction methods and procedures related to foundations and earthworks.
Ability to operate geotechnical field equipment and perform field tests.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering
More than 4 years of experience
Strong understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical principles
Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrain
