Receiving clients and providing information:
- Receiving customers and providing distinguished service regarding travel reservations
- Answering customer inquiries about timings, prices, airlines, and everything related to travel requirements and informing the customer about the airline company’s rules regarding the type of ticket chosen (refundable and amendable or otherwise).
Executing travel reservations:
- Booking airline tickets using international reservation systems such as (Amadeus, online, other) and with knowledge of retrieving electronic tickets and making amendments to them.
- Issuing electronic tickets and sending their details to customers
Payment processing:
- Handling cash or electronic payments
- Issuing receipts for payments and documenting operations
Advising clients:
- Helping customers choose trips that suit their budget and requirements
- Suggest alternatives when necessary (such as changing airlines or dates)
Problem solving:
- Addressing issues related to reservations such as modifications or cancellations
- Follow up on requests for ticket refunds or customer compensation when necessary
Communication with airline companies:
- Coordination with airlines to confirm reservations or process any special requests
- Updating customers with developments related to flights (delays, cancellations, changes)
Reporting:
- Preparing daily reports on sales and reservations, accompanied by cost details, to the Finance Department
- Follow up on sales performance and achieve set goals
Application of laws and policies:
- Adherence to airline policies and procedures
- Ensure that the terms and conditions for booking and changing tickets are followed
- Working to expand the customer base
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree qualification
Previous experience of not less than 6 months in the field of airline ticket reservations
Proficiency in working on Amadeus electronic reservation systems
