- Patrolling and monitoring workplaces to guard property against theft and vandalism
- Monitoring entry points to workplaces and maintaining order
- Monitoring entry and exit operations into the facility, and issuing permits to do so
- Verifying and registering the identity of suppliers and visitors, and issuing entry permits to them
