An AutoCAD draftsman is required to work in the field of infrastructure and electrical works for one of the largest contracting companies in Mecca and its suburbs (Al-Laith, Adham, and Northern Arar)
Job Description:
- Responsible for implementing goals and plans for infrastructure projects according to the procedures followed in the organization
Job duties:
- Develop detailed drawings and plans for infrastructure projects using AutoCAD, adhering to project requirements and specifications
- Assist engineers in calculating material quantities and other key measurements based on drawings to support cost estimation and project planning
- Review and modify drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects and clients
- Maintain organized records of drawings and modifications, following appropriate documentation procedures
- Conduct occasional field visits to verify accuracy of drawings, collect on-site data, and understand realistic constraints affecting the design
- Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that drawings reflect all details necessary for procurement, fabrication, and installation
- Submit a weekly report to the Design Manager to clarify what has been accomplished and what has been postponed, explaining the reason
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in applied arts
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design programs
Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD)
Proficiency in dealing with AutoCAD programs in all its versions
Possessing planning skills and preparing executive programs for approved plans
Ability to divide tasks and adhere to deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing drawings
