Job Summary:
The laboratory technician at the veterinary clinic performs the necessary laboratory tests to diagnose disease conditions in animals. Job duties:
Sample collection and processing:
- Mission: Collect blood, urine, stool, and tissue samples from animals in a safe manner
- Objective: Ensure accurate and safe sample collection to provide reliable results
- How to perform: Use sterile tools and carefully follow sample collection procedures

Conducting laboratory tests:
- Task: Conduct chemical, microbiological and hematological analyses
- Objective: To support accurate medical diagnosis and identify potential diseases
- How to perform: Operate laboratory equipment effectively and follow standard analysis procedures
- Performance indicator: accuracy and speed of issuing and interpreting results
Maintenance and management of laboratory devices and equipment:
- Task: Maintaining laboratory tools and equipment and conducting periodic checks on them
- Objective: Ensure that devices operate efficiently and with high accuracy
