- Required procurement engineer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating and purchasing the materials and equipment needed to complete engineering projects. They work closely with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to identify and meet the project's procurement needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Project Teams and receive the Material Requirements during Bidding & Execution stage of the projects.
- Identify, evaluate and prepare the documentation requirement for the procurement process to be initiated and sent to Vendors/ Suppliers or for submission to Client.
- Identify the potential Vendors/ Suppliers which fits to the requirement and initiate RFQ’s with them.
- Track & expedite receiving the proposals and evaluate the proposals in general before forwarding to the technical team for technical evaluation.
- Close coordination with evaluation team, Vendors and Client to ensure the procurement process is completed within the project schedule milestone.
- Prepare comparison & cost analysis statements, analyze and negotiate the Commercial Terms.
- Prepare Purchase Orders outlining clear commercial & technical terms fully in compliance to Project and Company requirement.
- Follow up with Vendor & coordinate with logistics team for timely delivery of Ordered Materials.
- Liaise with Inspection, delivery and warehouse staff to ensure all products are delivered to the project site in a good condition
Requirements:

An Experienced Procurement professional having worked in a company with environment of handling different projects
5 - 7 Years in Procurement
