Job Summary:
The control panel manufacturing and assembly technician is responsible for assembling and manufacturing electrical control panels according to customer requirements and specific technical drawings. The role requires a deep understanding of electronic and electrical components and the ability to read technical diagrams to ensure that the panels are assembled efficiently and with high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling control panels, installing and assembling electronic and electrical components in control boxes according to specified technical drawings
- Read blueprints, understand and follow technical drawings and engineering drawings to accurately complete assembly
- Quality assurance, testing control panels after assembly to ensure they function properly according to required standards
- Implement and make necessary modifications to the design or assembly based on customer or supervisors requirements
- Performing the necessary maintenance and repairs on existing control panels or those in need of repair
- Document all assembly and repair operations in detailed records to ensure traceability and quality
- Work with the design and sales teams to ensure that panels accurately meet client requirements
- Managing and monitoring the inventory of components and tools necessary for assembly and ensuring their permanent availability, while submitting supply requests when needed
- Suggest and improve assembly methods to reduce production time and increase efficiency and quality
- Handling technical documentation, reviewing and updating drawings and technical documentation to comply with any modifications made during the assembly process
- Adhere to standards, and ensure that all assembled control panels comply with national and international quality and safety standards
- Assist in training new team members on assembly procedures and work techniques
- Time management, the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and manage the schedule effectively to ensure products are delivered on time
- Communicate with customers when needed to clarify technical specifications or receive comments on finished products
- Ensuring the integration of various systems with the assembled control panels and ensuring their compatibility with customer requirements
Requirements:
A technical diploma or professional certificate in a related field (such as electrical engineering, electronics, or automatic control)
At least 3 years of practical experience in manufacturing and assembling control panels or electrical systems
Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and electronic components, and the ability to read technical diagrams
High precision in installing and assembling components in accordance with technical drawings
Ability to diagnose problems that may arise during assembly and find effective solutions
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines
Good communication skills to work effectively with the team and ensure proper information flow
