• Inspect buildings and surrounding environment for signs of pest infestation
• Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests
• Taking the required measurements of the area that needs treatment
• Estimating the cost of services provided to clients or customers
• Use various pest control methods, such as placing traps or baits to remove or kill pests
• Apply pesticides safely in buildings, facilities and the surrounding environment
• Maintain and wash operating equipment after work, in addition to maintaining regular equipment maintenance schedules
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the work uniform and taking care of the general appearance that suits the company
• Commitment to working hours and the ability to work overtime, if available
• Maintaining occupational health and safety measures and observing safety standards in the work environment
Requirements:
Secondary qualification, diploma or equivalent
Proven work experience as a Pest Control Technician or similar role
The ability to withstand harsh conditions and the ability to stand for a long period of time and work in uncomfortable environments
Ability to direct details and follow detailed instructions in applying pesticides to avoid harm to the client and self
Have good customer service skills and customer focus
Strong ability to maintain good records of hours worked, chemicals used and payments collected
