- Develop safety policies and procedures: The security and safety team should develop and implement strict policies and procedures to keep everyone safe in the workplace. This includes establishing emergency procedures and providing training and awareness on fire safety and the use of protective equipment
- Training and awareness: The security and safety team must organize training courses and workshops for employees to enhance safety awareness and provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to act in emergency situations and maintain their safety.
- Monitor and review: The security and safety team must monitor and review existing processes and systems periodically to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures. This includes inspecting equipment, ensuring its suitability, checking inventory, and assessing and analyzing incidents
- Cooperation with external parties: The security and safety team must cooperate with relevant government agencies and other external parties, such as civil defence, police and emergency services, to ensure compliance with legal standards and provide a safe and healthy environment.
