Job description:
Functional tasks:
- Developing a strategy, regulations and procedures for procurement and warehouse management that suit the company’s work and requirements
- Develop and monitor the purchasing department’s operating budget
- Implementing all responsibilities of the purchasing department and forming the necessary team to achieve them
- Disseminating procedures and work regulations and educating all employees and workers about them
- Work to create a list of strategic suppliers and communicate with them effectively
- Develop methodologies to evaluate supplier performance, evaluate the products and services supplied, and submit and analyze reports
- Continuous study of the market and knowledge of developments in alternative products that contribute to reducing costs and increasing quality
- Monitor the status of warehouses in various locations and ensure effective use of resources
- Work with the operations department and relevant departments to plan procurement requirements and determine the company’s procurement budgets
- Submitting reports and dashboards to senior management periodically on procurement activities
- Managing, reviewing and auditing the financial statements of suppliers
- Cooperating with the Legal Affairs Department to develop and review supply contracts with suppliers
- Contracting with suppliers within the permitted scope
- Working to create a positive work environment and ensuring the development of the work team’s competencies
- Implementing any other work or requirements requested by the direct manager
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Logistics Services + no less than 3 years of experience in the same field or a Higher Diploma in Business Administration or Logistics Services Management + no less than 5 years’ experience in the field
  • An accredited certificate in the same field is preferred
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English
  • Experience in attracting and managing individuals
  • Effective communication skills
  • Effective use of MS Office office applications
