- Prepares ideas and proposals for growth, expansion and spread, along with indicators to enhance these ideas and proposals
- Participates in analyzing the state of competition and competitors’ trends and in determining general directions for dealing with competition
Planning tasks:
- Determines annual targets for the revenues of branches and regions
- Prepares the targeted annual revenue plan for the company’s branches
- Participates in preparing the company's estimated budget
- Supervises setting monthly targets
- Prepares a plan to provide the branches’ needs for cars
- Reviews vehicle maintenance and repair schedules, and ensures their consistency with the branch vehicle operation plans
- Supervises identifying the branches’ human resources needs
Supervision and direction tasks:
- Supervises the implementation of approved plans for regions and branches
- Directs district and branch managers to areas of improving performance and increasing revenues
- Supervises the movement of cars between branches
- Directs district and branch managers regarding security clearances for tracking devices, renewal of vehicle records and forms
- Directs district and branch managers in the tasks of evaluating the condition of cars and determining accident amounts
- Directs district and branch managers regarding vacations, assignments, and promotions
- Supervising the regions and branches’ implementation of decisions issued by the Board of Directors
- Supervises the implementation of the regions and branches of the instructions and directives issued by the Director of the Department
Monitoring and evaluation tasks:
- Follows up and evaluates the workflow and daily achievements in the branches and takes the necessary measures to improve performance and increase revenues
- Follows the daily development in branch revenues and provides technical and administrative support for continuous improvement in revenues
- Follows up on the performance of district and branch managers in addressing problems and evaluates their results
- Tracks and analyzes car rental and movement rates and provides technical and administrative support to activate slow movement situations
- Follows up on the branches’ performance regarding pending contracts and provides technical and administrative support to increase efficiency in processing them
- Follows up on the branches’ performance in renewing vehicle forms and records, and ensures that accident papers are submitted to the insurance company
- Follows up on the car maintenance situation and ensures the efficiency of implementation in time and with approved quality
- Reviews maintenance costs with the financial department and recommends areas for their rationalization
- Ensures the accuracy of receiving cars from maintenance according to the approved forms for receiving cars
- Follows up on data, performance indicators, and behaviors of branch employees and provides technical and administrative support to improve performance
Procedural executive tasks:
- Analyzes daily and weekly revenue development data and extracts indicators
- Compares achieved revenues with targets and identifies and analyzes gaps
- Prepares a comparative analysis between the revenues of branches and regions, explains the differences between them, and suggests ways to improve them
- Takes the required measures to enable branches to increase revenues according to the type and level of gaps
- Periodically analyzes data on customer trends, opinions, suggestions and problems
- Provides technical and administrative support to raise the efficiency of the branches to enhance the relationship with customers and retain them
- Determines the cars proposed for sale during the year, and suggests their prices based on an evaluation of their technical condition
- Suggests the best ways to sell cars among the alternatives of direct sales, showrooms, or brokers
- Prepares a periodic report on the performance and achievements of the branches
- Prepares proposals and recommendations to increase leasing efficiency and increase revenues
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
At least 15 years of experience in the field of car rental
Skills in preparing ambitious plans and implementing them efficiently
