- A logistics operations manager is required to work for a package and order delivery company specialized in providing high-quality logistical services in the city of Riyadh.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Supervises all operational operations of the company and manages the supply chain from companies to the recipient of the package/order from receiving orders and managing application contracts to distribution, shipping and delivery.
- Developing and implementing plans and initiatives aimed at improving the company’s logistical operations, including developing and implementing contracts with companies and building good relationships with them
- Develop and implement a business plan for the company that defines the goals and procedures necessary to achieve them, develops the necessary policies, and communicates with key stakeholders
- Supervising all stages of the logistical process for orders and parcels, from receipt to delivery, ensuring quality of service, speed of delivery, accuracy of information, and managing logistical risks.
- Managing a large team of representatives, including their selection, recruitment and motivation
- Manage application contracts, evaluate and select suppliers and shipping companies and negotiate contracts to obtain the best prices and highest quality of service
- Managing the fleet of vehicles, cars and tanks used in logistical operations, and using the latest technologies and software to improve these operations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, with experience using the latest logistics technologies and software
Full knowledge of following up with representatives, following up on contracts, and creating the appropriate packages necessary to achieve the greatest possible return, with knowledge of supply chain management systems.
Skills in negotiating with companies, motivating and encouraging team members, and finding solutions to the challenges they face
High accessibility for sales representatives and workers in the city of Riyadh
Experience in managing application contracts and contracting with companies
Professional and academic certifications in logistics or supply chain management are an added advantage
