Receiving and storing the goods incoming to the warehouse and disbursing them in accordance with the applicable systems and rules
Implements the rules contained in the warehouse policies and procedures manual and inventory control approved in the company with regard to receiving and dispensing materials and storing them
- Supervises the reception of goods incoming to the warehouse, examines them and matches their specifications with the attached documents and invoices
- Receives, stores and arranges incoming materials according to the approved storage rules
- Supervises the preparation of entry and exit documents and their recording in the warehouse records
- Maintains updated manual or automated records of the recipient, the outgoing and the stock in the warehouse according to the company's systems.
- Supervises the preparation of periodic statistical reports on the recipient, the outgoing and the inventory and submits them to his direct supervisor
- He informs his direct supervisor of the damaged materials and recommends the necessary procedures regarding them
- Assists inventory committees in inventorying items in the warehouse
Ensures that safety and security controls are applied in the warehouse
- Prepares performance evaluation reports for warehouse workers and suggests appropriate training for them
- Ensures that warehouse databases are updated
- Submit periodic and annual reports on the activities and achievements of the warehouse to his direct supervisor
- He performs any other work assigned to him by his direct supervisor and falls within the nature of the work of the position
