Functional tasks:
Use appropriate strategies to purchase the organization's needs at reasonable prices
- Discovering suppliers, starting contracts, and establishing commercial and organizational partnerships
- Negotiating with sellers to secure quality conditions and suitable price
- Approving the request for the necessary goods and services from the various departments
- Finalize order purchase and delivery details
Examining and testing current contracts for supply and ensuring contract renewal dates
Follow up on requirements and submit reports on purchases and requirements
Collaborate with different departments to ensure clarity of requirements and budgets
- Building and developing the procurement department, developing procurement plans, and drawing up policies and procedures
Provide the needs of each section of raw materials and set the appropriate budget
- Building and developing an annual plan for the needs of the necessary raw materials
- Constant search for new suppliers of raw materials used in manufacturing or operation
- Building, developing and maintaining solid relationships with suppliers
- Making a periodic plan at the end of each year and updating policies and procedures
Building the various structures and models used in the procurement department
Maintaining files of internal and external purchase orders, quotations and contracts
- Constant communication with the warehouse management regarding inventory shortages, the extent of warehouse capacity, and the movement of inventory turnover
Preparing orders received from the various departments, sending them to approved suppliers, and following them up until they are received
- Review suppliers' offers and respond to them positively or negatively
- Follow-up changes that appear in the prices of raw materials periodically
- Contacting the entity requesting the goods and following up on the required materials in a timely and appropriate manner
Requirements:
High ability to communicate in English and Arabic
High ability to plan
Proficiency in the use of MS Office programs and the use of the Internet
Good knowledge of the procedures for drafting contracts, commercial correspondence and concluding business deals
High ability to conduct negotiation processes
Proficiency in the use of enterprise resource management system
The ability to prepare reports periodically
Practical experience in the field of procurement
Experience in data collection and analysis procedures
