Job description:
Oversee the sales department, developing a comprehensive business plan including sales strategies and profit targets, conducting territory and sales analyzes, evaluating results and adjusting strategies accordingly
Forming new relationships with potential clients and following up on potential and existing clients through phone, email, and occasionally
Lead a team of sales staff, including coaching the team, holding regular conference calls with its members, reviewing its expense reports, supporting it on an ongoing basis, and ensuring that everyone is meeting sales targets
Achieve sales growth and reach set targets by effectively managing the sales team
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its competition in the market. This includes setting sales targets and comparing them with performance, adjusting targets as needed, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing them.
Manage the recruitment process for the sales team, monitor the performance of sales representatives, and evaluate individual performance
- Strengthening the capabilities of the sales team within the company
- Submitting sales reports, revenues, expenses and realistic expectations to management
- Develop sales action plans by geographical regions
Promote a competitive and collaborative team environment
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager or meeting or exceeding previous company targets
  • 2-3 years of experience as a former manager or 5 years of experience in sales
  • Excellent management and leadership skills
  • Deep understanding of customer relationship management systems
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Continuous learning through workshops, seminars, conferences and professional publications
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Experience planning and implementing sales strategies
