Aim and purpose of the job:
Assisting in completing the operations of the Customs Affairs Department, including preparing documents and permits and submitting them to the Customs Department, and working to complete customs clearance operations for imported or exported goods.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of work plans for customs affairs in order to achieve the main objectives of the company
Obtaining permits for importing and exporting goods from government agencies and customs centers
- Preparing documents and documents related to the clearance of imported goods, and submitting them to the customs authorities
Preparing the permits, statements, and documents required for the goods intended for export, approving them legally, and submitting them to the customs authorities.
- Delivering shipping documents and permits, and checking and matching imported or exported goods to shipping lists
- Building friendly relations with all government departments and institutions, and customs agencies and centers
- Monitoring government laws and legislations and updated customs regulations that may affect the company's work, and presenting them to the department manager for discussion and developing the necessary solutions.
Familiarity with customs clearance procedures, extensive knowledge of customs laws, customs duties and taxes on goods
Contribute to proposing a budget, annual plans and programs for the Department of Customs Affairs
Ensure that all documents, papers, and permits required for goods clearance meet the signatures and credits, and conform to the applicable customs clearance law.
Follow-up customs procedures continuously until the incoming goods are released
- Tracking the movement of products imported by the company or that it wants to export until the completion of its customs clearance operations
- Permanent access to the customs tariff and customs tax fees due on the goods that will be exported and imported
Supervising the internal transportation of goods from the time they leave customs until they arrive at the warehouse
Requirements:
Full knowledge of clearance procedures in Saudi Arabia
