- Obtaining medical approvals from insurance companies, and responding to the required medical inquiries, if any
- Follow up the cases and requests of the internal hospitalization department and obtain the approval of the insurance company in the event of an extension request
- Full coordination between insurance companies and hospitals in the case of external transfers and critical ambulatory transfers
- Activating and updating new policies and companies on the system, including discounts, deductions, and approval limits
- Matching the services that require approval from the insurance company with the invoices or insurance form and ensuring that they are obtained
- Matching insurance patients' data with the submitted and attached data to avoid any fraud or objections
Reviewing, analyzing, and responding to the reasons for payment rejections from insurance companies, in coordination with doctors
- Preparing a monthly and annual report on the work status of the insurance department and attaching proposals and solutions to problems, if any
Respond to patients' inquiries regarding medical insurance and coverage status
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in medicine
Experience in the insurance field in hospitals
The ability to deal with all problems of insurance companies
